The Lipno Dam is a water structure built on the Vltava River. With an area of 48.7 km2, it is the largest dam reservoir and the largest body of water in the Czech Republic. The length of the swell reaches 42 km. The widest is the reservoir near Černá v Pošumaví, where it spills up to 5 km.
