Where can I submit the grant application
Applications are submitted exclusively electronically through the Citizen Portal (portal.gov.cz). First, you must register the project and after 3 months submit the complete application.
When can eligible costs be incurred?
Eligible costs can be incurred from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2026. Any expenses before or after this period will not be recognized as eligible for the grant.
What is the maximum support amount?
The maximum grant amount is CZK 1,200,000, and the grant can cover a maximum of 30% of the total eligible project costs. The minimum grant amount is CZK 300,000.
What are the deadlines for registration and application submission?
Project registration is open from March 1 to May 31, 2026. After registration, a minimum of 3 months must pass before you can submit an application. Applications themselves are submitted from June 1.
When and how will the grant be paid?
After the project is approved (January – February 2027), the contract will be signed. The grant is paid based on the submission of documents proving the project implementation.
Does the entire project need to be filmed in the South Bohemian Region?
The entire project does not have to be filmed in the South Bohemia region. However, a condition is that a part of the project is carried out in the South Bohemia region in such a way that recognizable costs (eligible expenses) are incurred here. The subsidy is then calculated from the recognizable costs incurred in the South Bohemia region.
Can I submit multiple applications at once?
One work = one application. You can submit multiple applications, but each application must be for a separate audiovisual work.
