Welcome to the website of the Regional Film Office of the South Bohemian Region!

Our film office is an independent mediator between filmmakers, local authorities and institutions. He is actively working to improve the conditions for filming at the regional level. Our task is to provide assistance, on a partnership basis, to audiovisual production companies that are engaged in the production of films, documentaries, television programs and other audiovisual works, and our goal is to promote the South Bohemian Region as an attractive and welcoming film destination.

Audiovisual support in the South Bohemian Region

The South Bohemian region provides individual subsidies to support audiovisual creation for the period 2022 – 2023. The specific aim of this subsidy is to support feature films and to support the creation of feature series or episodic parts of such series. You can apply here.

The application can be submitted from 1. 6. 2023 to 31. 10. 2023.
Acceptance of the application is conditional on filling out and sending the registration form, which is active from 19. 12. 2022 to 31. 5. 2023. A period of at least 3 months must elapse between the application and registration. As part of the application, a list of eligible costs incurred in the period from 1. 11. 2022 to 31. 10. 2023 and copies of accounting documents and account statements.
The minimum amount of the subsidy is CZK 300,000 and the maximum is CZK 1,200,000, with the provision that the subsidy covers a maximum of 30% of eligible costs and is therefore paid retrospectively based on the submitted documents.
