Until May 31, 2026, you can register projects for the South Bohemian Region’s grant program for audiovisual production. Registration is a mandatory first step for all productions that wish to subsequently apply for support.

Project registration does not commit you in any way, but without submitting it, you cannot apply for a grant in the next step.

Who should register

All productions planning to film in the South Bohemian Region, or those that have already filmed here and whose project falls within the period starting from January 1, 11. 2025 to December 31, 10. 2026. Registration is intended for both upcoming projects and projects already in development during this period.

Why registration is important

Registration serves as a basic overview of projects interested in support during a given period, and it is also a mandatory step for the subsequent submission of a grant application. Each project must be registered separately. The rule is that one project equals one registration. We therefore recommend not leaving registration until the last minute.

Basic program conditions

Under the grant program, it is possible to receive support amounting to 30% of eligible costs incurred in the South Bohemia region. The minimum support amount is set at 300,000 CZK and the maximum support amount is 1,200,000 CZK. Support applies to projects implemented during the specified period that meet the program’s conditions.

Don’t forget

If you are planning to film in South Bohemia and want to apply for support, registering your project by May 31, 2026, is an essential first step.

“Your support is crucial for us, not only in preparation but also in the execution of our shows. Recently, we collaborated on last year’s fairy tale ‘The Key of St. Peter’ at Zvíkov Castle and this year on the series ‘Protectors’ – filming is taking place in Tábor and the surrounding area.

I must highlight how much you have helped us. We are currently consulting with you on the TV miniseries ‘Rain Stick’ and a Christmas fairy tale for 2025. We believe that with your help, both projects will be visually appealing and successful with audiences. The South Bohemian Film Office has become an indispensable partner for Czech Television. Thanks to your expertise and knowledge of the region, we can utilize unique locations and bring our viewers authentic and visually attractive stories.

Thank you for your flexibility, professionalism, and commitment. We look forward to more successful projects that we will realize together.”
