About the Film

A father and son embark on their last road trip. The father, Viktor, suffering from ALS, has decided to undergo assisted suicide in Switzerland, and his son, Sam, cannot reconcile himself to his father’s choice. Along the way, they unexpectedly pick up a hitchhiker, Linda, a carefree young woman who brings a new perspective on life into their serious story, even though she herself carries her own trauma. Sam gradually comes to terms with the fact that his father’s decision is liberating for him, while Viktor struggles with doubts about whether he has made the right decision. (FAMO)
